I am assuming this is the blackberry beer they have on tap as a rotated fruit beer at SBC. If so, it pours a pale amber color. Virtually no foam upon delivery, and no lacing. The smell is weet and fruity - I've personally never eaten a blackberry so hard to say if thats what the smell mimcs.
Taste is sweet - Very sweet. Slightly tart, but there is a dominating fruitiness that makes this hard to drink.
My wife loves the blueberry beer they have here, but tried a sample size of this and we found it overpoweringly sweet. They offered to mix it 50/50 with a pilsener, which made it infinitely more drinkable. But on its own, this is a tough one to swallow. Literally.
