Sampled in a taster glass from draft at D and G Brewing on July 19, 2019. A classic English style with a slightly enhanced American hop profile alongside the English classics. Hopped with CTZ, Fuggle, East Kent Goldings and Cascade. Nice combination of floral and citrus as well as spice and a hint of earthiness.

On tap at Riverlands brewery - St. Charles, IL. I always love an ESB, but it has been way too long since I had one. Beautiful brown with reddish hues; creamy beige head. Earthy & herbal hop aroma with toasted grain and caramel. Big malt presence of toasted grain, caramel, burnt caramel, and toffee with an assertive earthy & herbal hop bitterness. Full body, ample carbonation, bittersweet finish. Good example of the style. I'm happy to see other things on the menu other than IPAs. A good ESB can be a nice change of pace.
