Fruited sour with black currants, blackberries, tart cherries, vanilla and milk sugar. Our Acid Prism is a companion series to Acid Rainbow. We took the same base beer and fruit combinations, but unlike in Acid Rainbow, we allowed those fruit sugars to ferment. This means that we are able to package this delicious sour ale. Slightly lighter in body and a touch drier than its Rainbow counterpart, Acid Prism still has loads of fruit flavor and is a refreshing, juice like beer.

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a one pint can on November 12, 2019. Made with black currants, blackberries, tart cherries, vanilla and milk sugar. Light to medium in body with a slightly dry finish.

Released 11/2/19; drank 11/17/19 @ the Yarchives.
Nearly opaque ruby red appearance.
A violent pour yielded a nice dark pink head; decent lace.
Luden's cough drop, vanilla, tart cherry & sweet blackberry notes in the nose.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Tart cherry, Luden's cough drop & mild vanilla flavors up front; sweet blackberry & faint honeyed wheat notes on the finish.
Not as subtle & easy to drink as the Buried In Berries version; this was more syrup-y & harder to enjoy. Hope the next one is better...

Very dark red opaque body with a pink foam head. Smell is full of those sweet and sour fruit: black currants, though I smell red too, cherry, and blackberry with a yogurt like finish. Taste is very much in the sweet and sour prism, (couldn't resist) with the fruits combining to taste like a black cherry warhead candy with again the yogurt influence but not as strong as the nose. Feel is thick, slightly syrupy, tart, and cloys a little from the sweetness.
