Very clear light amber topped by a thin white head that quickly disappears. Smells of cooked veggies and grainy malt. Slightly medicinal hop character. Grainy sweetness followed by veggies towards the finish. Slight herbal hop flavour with moderately light bitterness. Dryish finish. Thin body with very little carbonation. Slightly astringent with a bit of buttery slickness on the palate.
650 mL brown bomber with best before date printed on the label.

This beer comes from a small Brewery in rural Ontario. The bottle was what caught my eye which was enough to make a purchase - along with the idea that it was a microbrew of sorts.
The bottle poured quite cloudy with a healthy serving of head - which evaporated almost immediately - leaving some slight ringlets on the glass.
Immediately I noticed the fruity smell and initial taste - apples, and cherries come to mind.
I was disappointed by the amount of carbonation as it was virtually flat. I am used to ales having a bit more of a hop to them.
Truly the best feature of this beer was the crispness left after swallowing.
I would not purchase this beer again as it left little to remember. I would also think that one would be more than sufficient at any one time (remember that the bottles are hefty in size to begin).

650 mil bomber. Hard pour yeilds a light amber beer with a slightly off white 2 finger cap....reduced quickly. Light, fine- bubbled carbonation. Light aromas of sweet carmel malts and some tart green apple hops. Light bodied malty, sweet without cloying, buttery mouth feel... finishes clean as bittering takes over. Malty/woody finish...not bad for a Canadian ESB. Could use some aging to lose the diacetyl butterscotch.
