A New Zealand Pilsner (not a style here on BA).
Appearance - Pours a clear straw gold with three fingers of foamy white head.
Smell - grainy and biscuity malts, grassy, citrus, floral, earthy, and herbal hops, gooseberry, hint of guava, pineapple, citrus peel, lemon rind, vinous aromas, and earthy yeast.
Taste - grainy and biscuity malts upfront then quickly goes into the grassy, citrus, floral, earthy, and herbal hops. The gooseberry, hint of guava, pineapple, citrus peel, lemon rind, and vinous aromas follow suit. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes crisp and off-dry with the hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - A very easy drinking NZ pilsner from the folks at the Establishment. This one is a definite summer crushable brew!
