Billed as a pineapple infused Lichtenhainer. Poured a 473ml can into a pilsner glass. A two finger fine white head on a hazy lemon. Good head retention. The head diminishes to a ring. Some patchy lacing. Canned on May 12 so moderately fresh.

A very slight pineapple in the nose.

Mild beech smoke up front. Subtly fruity, the promised pineapple is there but very subtle in the taste. Slight Gose like salt elements. An almost imperceptible sourness. No noticeable hopping. A mildly fruity finish.

A light body and moderate carbonation.

A light and refreshing smoked ale.

Bright slightly hazy yellow with fizzy finger plus of white head that does not stick around.
Lightly smoked malt - smokiness increases as warms - lemony citrus, earthy with a hint of pineapple on the nose..
Slightly tart lemony flavour, mildly smokey and malty with a touch of salinity and earthy hops; a sour patch kids tartness meets fruity campfire effect at the back.
Bright, crisp, light side of medium mouthfeel with a refreshing smokey tartness.

A Lichtenhainer. A style that BA doesn't have on their beer styles.

This one is with pineapple.

Canned on July 15 so a fairly fresh can.

Appearance - Pours a hazy pear gold with two fingers of bubbly white head.

Smell - oak, grilled pineapple, hint of smoke, earthy and leafy hops, bready malts, and earthy yeast.

Taste - oak, pineapple, smoke, and salty elements upfront. The earthy and leafy hops and bready malts follow suit. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes tart with the lingering grilled pineapple.

Overall - An interesting concept of taking oak and smoking it with pineapple. In my opinion, I think the oak could've been more pronounced but that's me. Otherwise, a very flavurful brew.
