L -- Ruby red in the glass with near-total opacity and a finger of solid white head produced with moderate pour. Some retention and good lacing
S -- Black raspberry, rhubarb, strawberry, cranberry, red currant.... just a lot of berries. Also getting some yogurt-like tartness from the lacto kettle addition
T -- Largely follows the nose. As expected, lots of jammy berry fruitiness, trending dry, with a decent amount of clean lemony lacto tartness and a hint of salinity
F -- Medium- mouthfeel, medium+ carb. Not too much pulpy fruit character, which is nice. Quite refreshing and drinkable
O -- Almost exactly the same as Trillium's Double Seesaw series that they were pushing hard last summer. They've since switched to fruited berliner weisses, but Vitamin Sea has some very similar offerings. Quite good, just hard to describe this as 'refined' or 'complex' beer
