473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Apr 4 2022 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a relatively clear golden-yellow colour with lots of silty sediment hovering throughout the liquid. Just over a finger's width of soapy, foamy white head fades within four or five minutes, leaving behind a frothy, sudsy collar and cap; a messy swath of sticky lace is also deposited. Wheaty on the nose, but everything beyond that is Mosaic: moderately flowery and earthy, with hints of orange zest, freshly cut grass and a touch of something tropical.
It's a good pale ale, but not a balanced one - very much a 'new-school' APA, with only a mildly wheaty malt backbone and then it's just (Mosaic) hops the rest of the way through. Quite grassy at the forefront, with hints of orange zest and lemon giving way to indeterminate tropical fruitiness and finally some floral, earthy bitterness on the back end. Aftertaste is off-dry. Light in body, with assertive carbonation that prickles the palate throughout the sip, contributing to a crisp, fairly refreshing mouthfeel. Good drinkability - not too bitter, and the fruity flavours are appealing enough, but something's missing...
Final Grade: 3.76, a more than passable B+. I don't have any major gripes with Furnace Room's Mosaic SHPA, it's just not really what I'm looking for -when I buy an APA, I'm looking for something more than just a light IPA. Don't get me wrong, this beer tastes alright, and showcases Mosaic hops effectively enough... I'd just prefer a little more balance (i.e. malt presence) out of this style. Worth a look, assuming you enjoy modern pale ales, and don't harbour a deep loathing for its namesake hop varietal.

473 ml can served cold into a tulip. LCBO purchase for around $3.50 CDN.
Appearance - Semi clear rich golden color with honey brown hues. A two finger head rests on top and settles to a small half finger for the duration of the beer. SOme spotty lacing here and there.
Smell - Leafy notes and tropical aromas.
Taste - Some leafiness, light tropical flavors, little bit of orange and grapefruit among a medley of other flavors. Nice grainy backbone.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, good carbonation, a touch prickly.
Overall - Very solid pale ale, that holds up well against some of the best the province has to offer. To my tastes one of the best brews if not the best I'd had from the admittedly low number of beers from them. But this one is quite good.

Handsome looking beer. Clear gold with lots of active carbonation, big long-lived head. Hop forward with a lot of fruitiness, slightly heavy on the palate until it finishes up as bitter and then a little metallic. Not liking the metal. Nicely balanced between hops and fruit making it quite drinakable.

Pours slightly hazy and bubbly with a midsized head. Bitterness on the nose. The taste is all hops. Bitter and tasty. Tart and flavourful.

I bought 2 cans today at the LCBO in Ontario 473ml at 5.2%. ibu 35
Poured a 1 finger head into glass leaving a lace as you drink it.
Mosaic single hop pale ale
This special edition brew showcases the mosaic hop with its beautiful Citrus and tropical fruit aromas light in color with a mild malt finish.
It said that on the side of the can .
Lots of tropical fruit flavors and very well balanced
Overall very enjoyable to drink
I could drink 6 of these on a hot summer day
Would definitely buy this again.
Cheers
