easy drinking and well refined, only subtly european, light in that regard on both the grain side and on the yeast, mellow and refreshing after a long day of travel and work, level crossing continues to impress for me, the beer here is always so professional and well executed. this has a bit of a honey color to it, looks a little richer than it drinks actually, not just yellow, nice clarity, peppy small bubble carbonation, and an average white head from the tap at the source, a fun place to visit that was absolutely bumping on a weeknight when we were in this time. aroma of light biscuit, a faint hint of sweetness with it, very fresh and pretty reserved on the hops, but a little herbal thing there too, without bitterness apparent. the yeast is relaxed too, less of that kolsch fruitiness, more of the lagered crispness, a little crackery and fully compatible with what else is going on, this isnt a beer for deep consideration, its a beer for drinking, and that is true in the flavor as well as the nose, good balance, more hops later, faint toasted character to the malt and some almost brassy minerality quickening it, good back end crispness but not super flavorful on the yeast front, light citrus and grass, rushing carbonation, a little more expressive overall as it warms, a ripper that would be great with their delicious pizza in here, but i didnt eat this time through. always enjoy coming here, great beers this time once again! one of their lightest and most approachable this kolsch...

Taster flight at LC- Post District. Deep golden pour, clear, barely there head but leaves lacing. Biscuity, bready aroma, fruity notes. Taste is grainy and sweet, slick feel, fruit backend and a little bit sticky.

Crowler from the brewery. This is now 5% ABV. Pours light gold brown with a small white head. Aroma: malt, citrus, faint coffee. Taste: sweet malt, cracker. Soapy finish, cracker aftertaste. Not bad but not great.
