I shared a tall boy can of this beer at my good friend's summer home in Eden, Utah whilst there visiting old friends after touring Idaho State with my daughter. It poured a clear golden with thin off white ring head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle grain ad Belgian twang notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base with subtle grain and Belgian yeast presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

16 oz can from Brewers Haven. Golden, shimmery pour, fizzy head fades quickly. Buttery, yeasty aroma. Taste adds substantial bready malts, with the yeast providing faint backup flavors. The Belgian part is almost all aroma. Creamy feel, oily.

can into glass
Slightly cloudy, medium gold look. Splotchy, white head. Light, bright, light toast malt, with a little off-dry, herbal spice and whiff of lemon, for the smell. On the money with the slight musty, allspice/clove and yeasty flavors with a little effervescent, citrusy tinge, leading to a light maltiness.

not enough american brewers dabbling in this style, and i appreciate the effort here. i have been impressed with these guys in my limited experience with their beers so far. this is clean and simple, easy to drink, not dominated by generic belgian yeast esters, well restrained there, and nice and bubbly as it needs to be for me too, very well done objectively speaking, and a cool out to have out in pint cans. some light haze to this, an airy and rising white head, maybe not fully belgian in appearance, but plenty lively. aroma and flavor have a little cotton candy thing going on, green apple and pear fruitiness, and a soft coriander and white pepper spice layer, all from the yeast, but its balanced by fresh and simple pale barley malt, and just slightly more hops than a lot of these have to help crisp the finish, a nice recipe choice. there is some floral character to the yeast too, but it doesnt take over the beer, and the finish is on the dry side which i also love in the style. not overly ambitious, but well executed, and that is more than can often be said about domestic belgian style beers. nice with some spicy chicken wings, could have had several.

LOOK - nice pale straw/light golden color - nice rich foam and quite frothy - very hazy
SMELL - slight malt and cracker - some tart fruit and sourness - not much on the Belgian front other than some grassy notes
TASTE - tart bite at first - then some bread and some yeast along with some citrus - something goes sideways though - it quickly gets an off Brett. taste - to me I do not get any Belgian notes in the flavor - seems like a mixed culture fermentation and the Brett. overpowered
FEEL - thin bodied - much thinner than I expected
OVERALL - not very happy with this one - seems like it is mislabeled or infected - I don't get a nice biscuit/malt flavor like a Belgian Blonde should have - would not buy again

16 oz. can from the brewery store. Pours clear gold with a small coarse white head that disappears quickly. Good carbonation. Aroma: Belgian yeast, spice, faint metal. Taste: Belgian yeast, sweet, hint of spice (clove, coriander), a little black pepper in the finish.
