Backwoods has a toffee and butterscotch aroma with hints of coffee and toasted malts. The toffee and butterscotch continues into the flavor, accompanied by notes of caramel, chocolate and hints of coffee, tobacco/cigar and vanilla. The medium body has a pleasant malty sweetness with lingering chocolaty and toasted flavors.
