Last can found on the shelf at the store...it has a date stamp of 10/11/19, so certainly not fresh, and thus discounted to $2.99 for the 19.2oz can.
It pours nice and clear with half an inch of suds that falls down quickly w/o much lacing. Smell is faint sweet grain and not much else. Taste is sweet malt, sourdough and some light bitterness (very light). Feel is excellent for the style, lovely really. I'd definitely grab this again - it was good even at this age, and probably fantastic if fresh.

1st review of this beer on BA. Some sociopath added the beer but didn't write a review. SMH. This is one of those 19.2 ounce pounder cans, pounded down at Little Bend spot #1. Named after one of the remaining few who provided service rather than just taking services and subsidies.
Pours a golden/yellow/light amber color. Slightly darker SRM than expected. 1/3" white head. Decent clarity to it. The aroma was definitely bready giving indications of where that light amber/bronze like color was coming from, light honey malt note to it.
Taste keeps the breadiness going, I can't put my finger on the light metallic bitterness, the hops seem a bit different, but not imperialized usage or anything. At times floral, at times metallic, its the most puzzling thing about this beer.
This is more of a lager for spring or fall, not really summertime. Although I'm not saying it would be bad in the summer, just more ideal those other seasons.
