I probably need to try this beer again because on my first glass I was quite unimpressed, which is a drag because I always welcome trying low alcohol beers from interesting brewers. This one was just very thin.

Color was a hazy yellow with a pretty nice frothy head. Flavor, again, was quite bland. I'm not sure how to better describe it. I know that Czech Pilsners are supposed to be soft, etc. but this one just didn't do anything. The same for mouthfeel and drinkability: not much going on.

As I said, I will try it again since I do like this brewer but for now I am not impressed.

On-tap from Speakeasy.

I found it to be a easy drinking mild flavor pilsner.

A-A light golden yellow.

S-Not too much that I noticed other than a light hoppy aroma.

T-Refreshing, Noticeable bitterness but pretty well balanced.

M-Comes in quick and leaves just as quick.

D-Definitely can put back a few of there no problem.

If the big three had any interest in making a good light pilsner/lager the PE Pilsner would be their goal.

On-tap at Verdugo Bar, on to the beer:

Bright straw yellow color, topped by a soapy looking head that leaves a little lacing in the glass. One whiff of the aroma gets good notes of pineapple. There are also smaller notes of grassy characterisitcs. Taste is moderate in intensity, but high in enjoyability. The hop bill seems very American influenced thatnks to the pine and pineapple flavors being gathered. The hoppy flavors are never too dominant though, and sweet grassy flavors keep them in check. On the carbonated side in the mouth.

Quite the surprise in two ways: a micorbrewed yellow lager, and a very agreeable lager. I'll take it.
