A - Served a fairly clear copper-orange color with a finger of frothy crisp white head atop. The head fades down fairly slowly leaving behind some nice lacing in the process.
S - Aroma is full of lots of citrus hops with some grapefruit and orange. There is also some piney hops mixed in as well as some sweet caramel malts.
T - Kicks off with a big kick of citrus hops, with again, a nice mix of grapefruit and orange. There are some piney hops with some bitterness and some sweet caramel malts in the background. Through the middle, the hop flavor grows alongside some more bitterness and some honey sweetness. The finish is a mix of hop and some good bitterness that lingers.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a nice dry finish that is very crisp.
T - Very drinkable. Nice big hoppy IPA. Good mix of lots of citrus hops and some piney hops for some complexity.

Appropriately orange with a head that holds up nicely. On the dark side for an IPA, looks heavy on caramel malts.
Pretty nice hop aromatics, grapefruit and pine being dominant notes. Little bready dark malt and orange, reserved sweetness.
Palate has a nice balance of hop flavor and bitterness, with a bready but dry malt backbone. Very citrusy hop flavors, grapefruit and orange. Moderate bitterness in the finish. Very dry stuff, though substantially malty. A good beer, but not a remarkable one.

Had several times on tap at the beer store all this week building up to their 5th anniversary Celebration.
brewed with San Francisco Brewers Guild down at Speakeasy
12oz pour into a pint glass
from some quick notes
A- As the name says, comes out looking deep yellow-orange, slight haze with a nice 2 inch of white head head. lots of bubbles
S- lots of citrus, some piny notes. not as much orange as expected (or wanted).
T- really good, very crisp. like the nose, citrus, zesty.
M- light medium mouthfeel, well carbonated
O-crisp, drinks more like a 6% ipa. very refreshing! i could definitely put a few of these guys away (and have)
great beer to start the week, wish it was bottled so i could take some home to watch the game.
Speakeasy should bottle this guy and make it a year-round and it should be sold exclusively at the City Beer Store. you heard it first.
not the greatest review but hey, my first beer added!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
