Vendetta IPA is the taste of sweet revenge. Aggressively bitter with a cutthroat convergence of Citra and Amarillo hops, this Vendetta won't soon be forgotten.

Pours a medium dark amber color. The foamy and frothy head is off white and is pleasing to look at. It retains well and looks like a modest swirl of cream that leaves plenty of sticky lacing.
The nose emits herbal and earthy aromas. Fresh pine, grass, resin and mint evoke a green forest. The aroma of the malt is biscuity.
The mouth has a full and creamy malt texture that is also biscuity and doughy. Although it provides the firmest of malt backbones and some sweetness, the hops bitterness and flavors come out on top. As with the aroma, it is herbal and earthy. Grassy, bitter, hints of tobacco and lots of pine resin in the finish. Towards the end, some of the malt sweetness returns, as well as a big hit of citrus.
Medium bodied but on the thick side, big malt feel with an even more dominant hops presence, bitter but not overwhelming, smooth and drinkable. A nice IPA.

A: crystal clear; bronze in color - almost amber; 1+ finger off white head that receded to a wispy cap; very nice lacing;
S: more tropical fruit than anything else, but a nice dose of herb as well;
T: very nicely balanced; tropical fruit, herbal, and caramel from start to finish; tropical fruit lasts into the aftertaste; mild bitterness at the end that builds to moderate in the aftertaste;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: for a relatively big beer, this drinks very easily;
