In the tradition of the "Berliner Style Weisse Beer" says the label.
But I find not much traditional inside the can; actually quite a radical departure from anything I've had. (My narrow imagination could not invent this as a beer.) I don't drink enough Kettle Sours to give this an accurate rating. But, I found nothing wrong with the beer. And surprising myself, I even enjoyed it.
Watercolors Christmas Looks like no beer I've ever seen (although it did resemble in a tulip a raspberry rendition of a root beer float.) Smells were neutral, so call them average. Tastes are balanced. (Could've been a sour-tart bomb, but actually was almost sweet like the holidays and vaguely reminiscent of egg nog.)
Stargazers' concept is cool, always looking into the Great Beyond and what it means for brewing potential. But I did learn something important: in chasing new brewers, it is best to wait until they come into styles in my comfort zone. Not even four years open, Stargazer does not have one Belgian-inspired on their BA list. I will look forward to when they come down to Earth.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
