Competition for athletic brewing? Yes, it´s better than Sober Carpenter and very close to BA. Not too malty and really a hoppy refresher. Good mouth feel (rare for non-alc brews) and a good aftertaste. Worth the money!

(12 oz can, 0516/2023, 1354-1355; purchased single off shelf... poured into a 14 oz mug)
L: clear. amber liquid with a mild haze and some limited, scattered sediment of a hop particle variety?; absolutely lovely, tight, pillowy, rocky, dull white foam... aside from the scabs floating about, looks phenomenal capped with those dream clouds of suds... does keep a messy collar, laces in random-sized splotches, some chunky streaks
S: delicately potent, floral-heavy, hop-forwardness; underlying citrus zest, salt water taffy notes...
T: the floral character most definitely carries over into the taste in a big way, fragrant/ce, scented hand soap-like... a touch peppery-spicy on the finish; only subtly bready... is it rosewater? some kind of blossom water; very floral... almost halfway through and an earthy, burlap-like undertone develops, grainy perhaps, increasingly muffin-like malt... potent intensity; relatively superb depth and palate pervasiveness... elderflower?!
F: plush body, sedately resinous texture; comforting... the delayed spicy flame takes hold of the back of the palate, even emanating up through the roof of my mouth, tickling my sinuses... repeats an stealth carbonic simmer
O: as much as its initial aggressive floral bent was throwing me off, balance and nuance do unfold and, by the end, I found this to be one of the more well-conceived NA IPAs I've tried, arguably even putting it in my top 3... I would totally get this again and certainly give their other brands a shot (1999)

Solid west coast IPA NA. Consider this a 4 rating when compared to other NA’s.

Looks like a NEIPA and smells like one too. The hops are a bit sharp and astringent; smells of scallion with a little citrus underneath. Tastes exactly like it smells. If this were a blind taste test, I wouldn't be able to pick this out as NA amongst most of the watery, subpar hazies on the market. So it has that going for it?
