Poured from a growler into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to moderately hazy, medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and lightly dank hops, orange, lemon, hints of tropical fruit and pine. Flavor is pale malt, citrus hops, orange, lemon, light grapefruit, mild mixed fruit and a touch of pine in the finish with moderate bitterness. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. I hesitated to get this hazy IPA, but went for it since this is only offering from this small town brewery I've seen. The gamble paid off, because it rewarded me with some bitterness in the finish and a pleasant, if somewhat simple, hop bill. It's has less complex fruit notes than a traditional NE style IPA and some blessedly welcome bitterness which won me over for this one. Mostly citrus flavors, but there is a touch of several across the citrus spectrum making this refreshing and enjoyable. If they can allow me to enjoy a hazy IPA, I'm looking forward to trying something else from them.

A nice but mild NEIPA kind of brewed for the masses I guess a session NEIPA.
