Collaboration with Other Half Brewing Co.
All Pixel Everything combines DNA from our Citra focused IPA, Pixel Density and their All “HOP” Everything series that frequently features Citra. Sam and Shaun worked out a recipe that combines some of their favorites pieces of both recipes and threw Motueka and Nelson Sauvin on top of that super fruity Citra. You’ll notice a super hop saturated aroma and flavor with a dryer finish than we typically do here in Chicago - similar to our Tonal Range series.

On tap at NW Growlers today. Surprised to see this beer out here.
The beer pours the expected hazy yellow, orange color with pretty good head retention and lacing. On the nose I'm getting orange citrus and tropical fruit, with a hint of vanilla. This smells pretty good. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely in this deceptively easy drinking dipa. While there's minimal bitterness on the finish (which I generally don't care for), this is pretty easy to take. Abv is very well integrated into the flavor profile, which as noted above, makes for a very easy drinking beer. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a pretty long finish.
I wouldn't call this anything special, but this is still a very well crafted, easy to enjoy ipa. Nicely done.

From a tallboy (final one of a four-pack) into nonic, looks amazing, chalky orange-yellow, 1 finger of head, and modest retention, but great lacing. Nose: underripe citrus, citrus pith, melon, berries. On the tongue, prickly/zippy right from the get-go, lots of zest, some lime, neither super tart nor very sweet...soft malt. This is an interesting concoction...the citra is super fruity, the nelson suavin is really green and dewy or gardeny. The finish leaves your tongue coated with hop oils, and there's a little tart/pithy, garden-fresh bitterness.

16oz can from Tavour. Orange golden pour, thin white foamy head. First in the aroma is orange juice, then a little grapefruit. Taste is juicy, citrusy and zesty. Smooth. A light dry finish.
