Eunoia 9 is a blend of imperial stouts aged for 13 months in Jim Beam double oak, Willett bourbon and Wild Turkey bourbon casks. We then conditioned the blend on wild Thai banana and peanut butter. Sweet tropical banana and creamy peanut butter with bourbon laced chocolate undertones.

Pours a plodding, viscous jet-black body topped with a short-lived sliver of mocha-hued foam, fading quickly to a nearly still, void surface, slight, frothy collar, and minimal lacing spattered across the walls of the glass.
Aroma hints at fluffy green banana accenting a pronounced, earthy interplay with roasty malt char upfront as bourbon vanillins phase through, leaving creamy peanut butter coating subtle tones of now-flambéed banana.
Taste brings earthy earthy banana against a bitter cocoa char upfront, with milky peanut butter sporting a tannic, oaky edge through the mid-palate as tinges of bourbon poke through on the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel offers a full body and minimal carbonation, displaying thick, rich texturing into a creamy peak supported by wispy barrel tannins over the mid-palate; an airy char bitters delicately on the back end, trending progressively sticky into the finish.
Pastry stout density with a well-tempered hand levying soft banana into peanut butter-coated roast with a bourbon edge; a balanced and satisfying dessert sipper.

Had on tap. Midnight black pour with a brown cap, leaves thick traces of the stout on the glass. REALLY impressed with how potent and pure the banana and peanut butter, especially in the nose. Taste adds more barrel with the bourbon acting as a caramelization of the banana, giving a hint of bananas foster, vanilla, and chocolate. Like a elvis smoothie. Thick, heavy yet smooth and non taxing on the palate. The wife loved it

Released 4/8/22; drank 4/17/22 @ the Yarchives.
Black appearance.
An even pour yielded a small, noisy dark tan head; almost no lace.
Banana, peanut butter & milk chocolate notes in the nose.
Creamy, thick mouthfeel.
Banana & milk chocolate flavors up front; mild peanut butter notes on the finish.
Not much barrel or booze here, but the flavors are well integrated and not too sweet. Good, not great.
