Pours a very slightly unfiltered golden copper color with a fluffy oatmeal colored head that lingers as a cap on the body and provides ropes of lacing. Beautiful WCDIPA.
The nose is unapologetically dank and weedy, with resiny pine and a bit of citrus and a smidge of caramalt. I’m gonna like this - a LOT.
Indeed I do like it, with the dank weed and resiny pine providing a bracing bitterness that is balanced by the citrus and caramalt flavors, but still lingers through the full, dry finish.
Quite simply, this beer fits my beer nerd palate perfectly, and I absolutely love it.

Thanks to FBarber for sending this in NBS BIF #17. Canned 3/29/23
Pretty. Orange-tinged golden color is capped by a fluffy white head. Fairly transparent with a steady stream of tiny bubbles replenishing the head. Pretty good retention, slight lacing.
Nose is brash and dank. Weed, pine resin, hints of juicy grass and citrus.
Flavor goes a bit sideways. It starts like it's going to be weedy/oniony, but then gets scattered and almost volatile. For a moment I think it's going towards citrus but it just kinda gets hot, and then back to a no longer dank herbal burn. At times, I still get some weed and resin-leaning notes but still the harsh aspects dominate.
Mouthfeel is light, a bit fluffy, but warm on the finish.
I would still like to hit this again, maybe just an off can. I was really tempted by the nose.

Aroma is very dank hops and slightly funky citrus. The flavor is fruit/citrus, malts/slightly earthy and a grapefruit/tropical/dank hop finish.

Served from the tap in a willibecher at the Phase Three taproom.
Pours a clear sunset brass topped by a finger of light cream foam. The nose comprises sharp pine resin, very dank greens, a tiny touch of leek, wet grass, and a hint of cracker in the back. The taste brings in more of the same, all of the components' bitterness turned to friggin' twelve. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a pretty dry finish. The picture on the board next to this beer is a pot leaf with what look like stink lines emanating from it. Yup, pretty much the epitome of Chappelle's "stickiest of the icky", this stuff is pretty harsh. Not for me, to be honest, but if'n yer into that sort of thing, have fun.
