Canned 12/5/23 (1 week ago)

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (10% clarity), slightly layered dusky orange/tangerine color with a moderate white head. SRM of 8. (4.00)

Aroma: Stronger, Romas, orange citrus, tangerine, some earthy pineapple. Smooth. (4.00)

Flavor: Strong flavors of orange citrus, tangerine, some tropical peach, and melon underneath. Some earthy pine notes, but minimal bitterness and slightly sweet. (4.00)

Feel: Medium bodied, average, carbonation, drink, smooth and sweet. (4.00)

Compared to Toppling Goliath Nepo Baby 12/2023: Pours darker, milder head. Milder aromas. More tangerine, earthy pine, pineapple, and melon. Less orange citrus zest and pineapple. Smoother with less of a burn.

Compared to Phase Three Unchecked Imagination 12/2023: Pours nearly identical. Stronger aromas. More tangerine and resinous pine. Less juicy orange juice, tangerine. Smoother and sweeter.

Compared to Drekker Goon Platoon 1/2024: Pours darker, similar aromas. More tangerine, earthy citrus and resin. Less sweet strawberry kiwi, papay, guava. More bitter and less sweet/smooth.

Overall: Pretty standard hop flavors with Citra, El Dorado, and Galaxy. Nothing out of the ordinary. Citra is a good base, but I've never been wowed by El Dorado or Galaxy. Not bad, but it needs more of a unique hop addition to give it a distinct flavor, and there is nothing memorable about it. (Rating: 3.95)

Opaque dark orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a big off-white head; frothy tree-rung lace.

Orange citrus & faint dry grass notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Orange citrus, mild orange soda & some dry grass flavors.

5 years ago I might have loved this, but it's over the top, not balanced & not super enjoyable. I've had my last.
