Five Year Anniversary Stout

A project that has been going on for nearly 4 years. A blend of stouts with high proportions of rye and oats that spent time in three different new bourbon casks for a total of 45 months. Each new cask added a very intense spirit character, something we find wonderful. We decided to tame the heat by adding Papua New Guinea and Ugandan vanilla beans directly to the last round of casks as it finished. Huge notes of chocolate fondue and marshmallow on the nose and in the flavor. A one-of-a-kind beer from us, that's taken a long time to produce. The boldest beer we've made at a whopping 19.4%. This one is meant to be sipped and shared.
