The well-made blend is beginning to grab more of my attention, & well deserved. This one arrives in a 500ML black-waxed bottle.
The pour favors stout, black, red-tinged edges. Booze, barrel, caramel, & malt surge through the nose, in that order.
Blend 2025 hits like Harrison Smith from the first sip. Woo-hee! Barrels sprout in the palate like happy, boozy thoughts & the influence of the b-wine is on top, while the stout lends body & weight. Huge bourbon hit, equal weight to the alcohol, such that I'm having trouble spelling the word. Ethanol, caramel, toffee (yes, they are distinct), honey show in diminishing amounts. Given a couple hours, I could drink pints of this. And likely survive.
This is my first rated Phase 3 brew & damn, if I have any say in the matter, there will be plenty more. Phenomenal beer.

Look - black and thick but barely and rimming
Smell and taste - lots of barrel with a caramel toffee and rich slight cocoa
Feel - full body and creamy with a lighter carb
OVerall - great beer

Pitch black body, tiny brown ring. Big bourbon barrels with notes of char, black strap molasses, date, cocoa, mild dark nut, and smoky dark honey, but overall boozier. Taste big date, caramel, bourbon, dark wet oak, char, barley, vanillins, bakers chocolate, and again I’m getting dark honey again here too. Feel is heavy and thick but the barrels shine through so well, warm and has slight rising dryness. Love this series
