a tropical fruit shandy here, that everyone seems to love, but i wasnt huge on this one, sure its full of summery pineapple and mango character, some fresh squeezed orange juice taste too, but to me its a little sweet, not real beery, and not as lively in the feel as i want something like this to be. i had higher hopes after loving almost everything else on their menu. the color here is hazy and pale orange, and there isnt much head at all. pineapple candy, dried mango, dried apricot, and peach in the nose and taste here, very little from the malt, and no hops at all. there is a slight tang to this thats cool, and that would make it refreshing it if were better carbonated, kind of a neat feature for a shandy, plays that lemonade role well. this is as much juice as it is beer to me overall though, and not something i would spend they day drinking, even though i think thats the kind of beer its designed to be. i think maybe they mix of the fruit from time to time in this, and this is a really nice combination of flavors, but i want a little more beer character. i could see strawberry and lime working nicely as well...
