16oz can from Brewers Haven. Very pale straw color, light cloudiness, one finger foamy head. While the lemon is light in the aroma it comes in full force in the taste. More lemonade than lemon peel. It's soft, crushable and leaves a slight stickiness on the palate. And like the label says, it's tasty AF.

i much prefer the huckleberry edition, this base lemon one now seems to me to be missing something. its super pale from the can, watery thin straw colored with almost no head but enough carbonation on the palate, it looks almost impossibly light. i love this low abv, and the lemon part smells and tastes natural to me, ice cold its summery and decent, but as it warms is shows a few holes and overall its not up to the level of a lot of their recent beers, which have been trending up pretty rapidly. there is really almost no malt to this, maybe just a bit of pale wheat character, but its approaching too minimal. the lemon part carries a little mid palate sweetness with it which works, but it lingers a little longer than i want it to, and there is a bit if tang here overall, cleanish on the ferment though. slightly dusty to me, off fully fresh maybe, and just so light that it seems almost incomplete. obviously the purpose is pounding, and i think that box is checked here, but the huckleberry addition adds the depth of flavor and uniqueness that i am missing in this original version. better than the macro alternatives in this style, but not by much...

A Shandy/Radler from Western Collective, on-tap in Meridian ID. Clear straw gold pour, wispy white head and minimal lacing...sugary, lemony nose reminiscent of other Shandy's...lemonade, Crystal Light...light and fruity/candy-like palate, sweet and still refreshing, sugary with a sweet finish. Typical, fairly classic American take on a shandy, with maybe just a touch more sugary character.
