another lime beer enters the equation, nothing real special here, not sure how great this base beer is on its own, but the lime element is tastefully dosed, this is dry and unforced, and i think its lightness and ease is the real draw, cool packaging too, seems some innovation here lately after a period of relative quiet, and this should be an immediate success for them, even if we are at the end of lime beer season here now. it presents like a lager because thats what is the standard for these, but im not even sure it is, has a crispness but part of that is the absence of much malt, not really a lager yeast character to it, just fermented dry and neutral, which is fine, i think its effective as a warm weather refresher regardless of that. the lime is lightly perfumed to me, maybe not fresh fruit in this, but its not sweet, and its not cheap tasting, i think the somewhat reserved dosing is smart, its more than a suggestion but its not a hammer over the head either, and i think the lightness of the whole thing is its strength. great carbonation, real simple grain foundation, some minerality to it, its clean anyway, if a little light on personality overall. minimal body, some light bitterness approximating lime pith, and a pretty high refreshment capacity. i feel like this is a volume drinker and a half step up from where these guys have been with some others in their lineup, nice to see new beers and progress here!

Draft at Western Collective. Golden pour, spotty head. Aroma is light lime. Taste features the citrusy, lime notes, over riding any base lager notes. Good summertime beer
