Pours a very cloudy amber color with a thin foamy head. Head retention is decent and lacing is good. Light citrus aroma with a little earthy malts and pine. More earthy on the taste with mild citrus and decent bitterness. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

This is more of a session pale ale not an IPA.
Aroma is mild pine and pineapple.
Taste is more malt than hop forward though it is definately present.

this beer is way better than its ratings. a nice session ipa with a cool hop profile that mixes a bit of the old world spicy hop flavor with the more modern citrus complexion, all in a very light but flavorful base beer, i thought it was both highly drinkable and very well made. pours very lively from the neatly decorated blue can, tons of bubbles and head on this, active as can be, i like to see that in hoppy beer. aroma and flavor are all about the hops, bright fresh citrus with mostly orange and grapefruit notes, as well as the grassy herbal hop side as well, both are there. the malt is lighter than it looks, just a little crackery baked element to this, but it stays dry, and its a nice base for the hops, which dont have to be very bitter to still take center stage in this one. well carbonated, low alcohol, and quite refreshing when ice cold, especially for a dry mouth. not sure why nobody talks about palisade, i have liked the few beers i have had from them quite well, and think they have good thing going. better than a lot of other local only session types we have in the state right now...

On tap at Right Coast Pizza in Wheat Ridge, $5 a pint. Darker orange color. Really weak aroma, you could probably count the hops on your fingers and toes. The flavor was extremely watery, very poor and almost tasteless. I know low alcohol IPA's are hard to pull off but this was probably the worst one I've had, thumbs down.
