A blend of pale, vienna, and wheat malts along with some oatmeal makes a strong base for this beer. We add bitter orange peel for fruit notes and Belgian candy sugar to drive thile ABV up to 8.0% and dry out the finish. The additional sweetness is then balanced with the herbal and fruity characteristics of Williamette hops while the yeast imparts spice and fruit notes

Guest tap at Rusty Nickel. Dark amber pour, scant head. Sweet, malty aroma. Taste offers some honey flavors, more sweetness. Sugary, syrupy, but also accents from the yeast.
