A smooth caramel and toasty profile make this amber worthy of our Ashland Fire Department.

I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a five sample flight. It poured a clear amber color with thin white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had subtle malt and hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink sweet malt base and subtle hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Bought a 64 oz. growler of this ale and it was quite delicious. Had it with some Manwich sandwiches. A deep rich caramel / coffee look. A slight aroma of of that caramel / coffee flavor. No discernible head. The taste was better than expected and it was fresh, having been drawn from the source. You could taste the caramel / coffee flavor; and the "buzz" from the freshness far exceeded my expectations. Certainly worth trying. Great with Manwiches, smoked cheeses and burgers.

No matter how many beers I try here, I always come back to this one. It's smooth with a caramel aroma, little to no head, no despicable aftertaste (I despise IPAs because of their bubbly aftertaste), so this one wins, hands down.
