A modern American Farmhouse Ale, fermented bone dry and dry hopped with copious amounts of Mandarina Bavaria and Hallertau Blanc hops. Brewed with 100% New England grown and malted barley, wheat, and flaked rye, this beer blurs the lines between its American and Belgian influences.

Can conditioned Saison... How many of those do you see, especially from a small local brewery.
Nose:
Lemon pepper, green grapes, hay, radish phenolics, dried basil and sage, it's just really lovely and screams of springtime!
Palate:
These guys kill it with the mouthfeel (probably the grain), the attack is bright, the texture is mouth coating, the finish is effervescent and not too high toned. Doesn't have that Saison weight for me (that almost bubblegum taste) which amplifies the feeling of alcohol.
Conclusions:
It's light on its feet, farmy crispy boi, with an exemplary noble hopping regimen.

Pours a lightly hazy pale straw yellow with three fingers of pillowy white head that leaves behind nice lacing. Aroma is spicy, mostly black pepper, with some lemony undertones. Taste mirrors the aroma, the focus is the spicy phenols, mostly some softer black pepper notes. The lemon is there but it’s also a little softer and more rounded than the aroma. I also get some spicy rye and wheat notes. Finish is dry, maybe with little acidic or bitter bite. Medium bodied, high carbonation. Another tasty saison from Amory’s Tomb. It definitely isn’t completely traditional but isn’t so far away from its inspiration that it’s unrecognizable.
