Our perpetual rye grisette is an easy going table beer brewed with ever evolving house cultures. A bright and delicate farmhouse ale featuring a straightforward grain bill of Northeast grown malted barley and rye, leaning on noble hops for an earthy and lightly spicy finish.

Poured from a 16 oz can marked, "Batch 7 - Kazbek Best before 1/15/2022.
A - Lite straw color, nice clarity, amazing towering white frothy cap. Cabonation is lively and a treat to watch
S - Grainy with rye leading the way, some white pepper, lemongrass, all wrapped up in a musty basement aura.
T - Lemon pith, spicy with pepper leading the way, some funky cheese rind and earthy hops
M - Sprizty and bone dry, starts out with edges, and stays sharp on the palate, there is a tartness but ever so slight.
texture is really good. Solid nod to the classic European style.
O - A very enjoyable Grisette, sharp, spicy, dry, lovely carbonation and all at 3.9% ABV. A delightful offering

No can date, batch 6 meridian/local
Pours a huge fizzy head with lower retention, spotty lacing, crystal clear light pale color with a little sediment
Nose big farmhouse, funky with a little tartness, lemony, little sour funk, spicy rye and hops, gristy grainy malt, very herbal a little minty
Taste more grainy gristy mild malt, tart lemony notes but not sour, farmhouse funk and bready, spicy rye, generic fruit, herbal spicy hops, grassy, lemongrass, little herbal tea, dry bready funky finish with a little bitterness
Mouth is med to lighter bod, med to a little higher frothy carb
Overall not bad, interesting grisette

Another excellent beer from one of my favorite MA micro brewers. Excellent hop profile, and malt bill. Very dry with some fruit. Golden color with a 4F head in a Tulip. Very German hop flavor- great for this Saison style beer.
