Pours a dirty blonde golden with white head. Good retention. Lemon and orange zest on the nose. Some honeysuckle as well. That honey suckle carries through. It's kind of got that champagne sugarfina effervescence as well. A really nice straightforward saison.

No can date
Pours a way too large frothy 3+ finger head with plenty of retention, messy lacing, very clear light pale color
Nose big floral saison spices, herbal floral slight peppery potpourri spices, citrus and mild tree fruit, light creamy cereal malt
Taste brings mild doughy malt and cereal grain, plenty of floral spices again, potpourri slight peppery spices, more fruit esters, apple pear pome fruit and citrus lemon lime zest, light bitterness, dry finish
Mouth is med to a bit lighter bod, med fizzy carb
Overall nice saison, lots of yeast additions although the malt was a bit too light, but good

Prelude printanier from Amory’s Tomb Brewing. Received on 9/4/21 from @Rub_This_BBQ in NBW BIF #13. 16 oz can stored at home at 42 degrees. Reviewed 27/4/21. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Undated can. Served at 53.9 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. Final temperature 55.4 degrees.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Pale Straw (SRM 2), clear.
Body – Pale Straw (SRM 2), clear. Much effervescence present.
Head – Large (Maximum 5.5 cm, aggressive center pour), white, medium density, short retention, diminishing to meringue-like head and some small irregular three-dimensional islands of lacing on the glass. Second pour produces a medium-density two cm head.
Lacing – None, just the aforementioned hanging islands.
Aroma – 4 – Pleasantly spicy. No malt, no hops, no yeast.
Flavor – 4.25 – Begins mildly spicy with pepper predominating and some coriander. No malt, no hops, no yeast. No ethanol (5.0% ABV, as marked on container) taste or aroma. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl.
Palate – 4 – Medium, watery, light carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 (After deducting 0.25 point for no date on personal container) Some cloudiness appears with the second pour. Overall, a good representation of the style, lacking the Brettanomyces funk. Very quaffable.

Light, cloudy golden color with a 4F head in a Tulip.
Aroma of traditional Saison spice, especially coriander.
Moderate MF, not too carbonated.
Pronounced spicy accentuated taste.
Excellent Saison. I have greatly enjoyed the beers from the brewery.
