Farm Road is a bright and delicate farmhouse ale brewed with 100% Northeast Grown grain including Floor Malted R & M Grains Barley and Wheat from Blue Ox Malthouse, and Flaked Organic Oats from Aurora Mills & Farm. Steeped on Lemon Peel and fermented with Wildflower Honey. Crisp, easy drinking and light enough for a table beer, but structured enough to stand up in almost any situation.

16 oz can
Pours a hazy straw color with a massive soapy white head. Good retention with expected lacing.
Aroma is rustic and earthy, with notes of cracked peppercorn, Belgian yeast, coriander, wheat bread, and lemongrass. A little orange peel, pear and barnyard funk.
Taste follows with tons of coriander and clove, lemon, wheat, damp grass, spicy pepper, and a touch of honey.
Body is light, with prickly carbonation. Finish is dry. Quite drinkable.
Overall this is a very good, old-school rustic farmhouse ale. Tons of yeast character and fruity esters with good enough funkiness.

Canned 2025/04/09 - Side note, I love when breweries put the deets on the label.
Pours a huge frothy foamy 3+ finger head with good retention, foamy lacing, mostly clear slight hazy light pale to straw color
Nose brings quite a rustic farmhouse saison funky character, plenty of cereal grain, straw, doughy bread and wheat, plenty of grain, lemon zest and lemongrass, phenol spices like coriander kinda thing, a bit of generic fruity esters under, a touch of a honey malt
Taste brings more of the saison farmhouse funky notes, earthy hay and straw, grainy cereal malt, bread dough, lemon zest and a bit of lemongrass again, mild generic citrus and fruity esters, more of the phenol spices like coriander but not exactly and some peppery notes, mild floral grassy notes and some herbal earthy spicy hop notes, wild flower honey with the flowers, dry finish, fair bitterness throughout
Mouth is med to lighter bod, med to higher slight effervescent carb
Overall quite nice, great yeast additions, great base malt, nice light lemon and honey notes, enjoyable and rustic
