375ml bottle - bottled on 13 Oct 2022. Poured into tall tulip glass.
L: about a finger of pure white head, rather thin consistency and dissipated quickly to a light film over the body of the saison. Actual color of the beer is a pale yellow, hazy opaque light straw color.
S: citrusy tartness, the like really comes out in the nose. Maybe grapefruit. There may be some grain smell or funk but it’s more sour grapes/tart/ lime citrus.
T: fruit rinds, primarily citrus. Acidic but somewhat barnyard.
F: light bodied. The sourness of the lime and other “geuze” notes aren’t overpowering and finish relatively cleanly.
O: farmhouse ale with lambic + geuze leanings. Tart, light, lime forward. It’s not bad but not exactly my personal taste to try again.
