Our Legendary ESB pays homage to LaGrange's new semi-professional soccer team, Legends Football Club!
Become A Legend.
Superbly balanced and immensely agreeable. This medium-bodies ale is a marathon, not a sprint. The finest English malts strike with rich, bready malt presence and hints of toffee. A blend of English hops save with an earthy herbaceousness. English yeast ties it all together with a marmalade fruitiness. A beer so refined, you'll be hoping for stoppage time.

Had Legendary ESB at the Beacon taproom on draft into willi becher, and also poured from 12-oz. can, from 6-pk. carrier labeled "PKG 03 14 [23]," into nonic pint.
Pours amber-gold with clarity and 1-finger, creamy, very light tan head, with good retention, pulling splotchy lace down the glass. Sweet caramel malt aroma off pour, then nice hop herbals, and a little roasted malt and finally a bit of sweet orchard fruit as warms. On tasting, begins mild caramel, with orchard fruit, over a creamy, toasted bread body, before a nicely hopped, herbally bitter finish complements the fruit and balances out the malts.
Very nicely balanced and authentic ESB. Would be lovely on cask.
