Taster At BrĂ¼. Pale golden body, wispy white head. Mildly sweet, grainy aroma. Taste is also light and sweet, clean, biscuity, bread. Almost crisp finish

a simple but flavorful american lager that didnt quite drink as light as i thought it might, but i prefer a beer with some character in this style to something watery and boring. on tap its not quite clear, holds a tall white head, and has an obviously yeasty aroma, lager yeast evident, but a slightly raw doughy element to it makes it distinctive, and thats true in the flavor too. i taste some pils type malt, maybe a pinch of white wheat, simple and earthy, and its less than perfectly refined vibe lets it have a little more flavor than most. no metallics or adjuncts evident here, although its not fully clean either, its at least fresh and relatively well executed. this is one of those beers that does better with a context, and for us it was some awesome artisan pizza with interesting toppings, which made a light but not bland beer seem just right. the high carbonation is necessary for it, and the relatively dry finish is appreciated. it was good with every sip, warmed up better than a lot of these ever do, and overall i think does its job pretty well. not generic, also not amazing, but highly serviceable as a drinker...
