This wheat IPA was brewed to celebrate Kansas’ 159th birthday. We used Kansas Red Winter Wheat malt from Great Plains Custom Grain and Kanook, Cascade and Columbus hops from Kansas Hop. Co. We rounded out the beer with Midwestern Ale Yeast from The Yeast Bay. While not from Kansas, the Midwestern Ale Yeast is a strain of yeast isolated from a storied brewery in the heartland of America.
