The word “Dunkel” is German for dark, and that is exactly the color we aimed for when we brewed this dark German lager. Our version is characterized by a sweet, smooth malty flavor that reminds you of cooler weather.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, light brown color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of roasted malt, toffee and faint chocolate notes. Sweet chocolate, toffee and a toasty malt taste.
