This young spontaneous beer was briefly rested on foraged Colorado spruce tips. The resulting beer has refreshing notes of watermelon, cucumber, and of course, spruce!

Pours a yellow-orange with a foggy translucency. Head is a finger of off-white foam. Served on cask. Aroma is cucumber, with immediately spicy, earthy notes. Spruce cuts everything back. Mildly tart throughout. Flavor profile is cucumber, mild spice, and earthy and toasty malts. Again, spruce is the highlight. Mild tartness throughout, but never overtly sour. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a remarkably smooth, still texture that still remains comfortable. Overall, really wild and funky. Pretty darn unique.
