Mountain water combined with a unique blend of Northwestern hops (Zythos, Sterling, Cascade, and Chinook among them) and premium 2-row malted barley, Mission Street Session Pale Ale is expertly crafted: subtle malt flavors topped with fresh floral and citrus hop aromas. Exceptionally smooth and drinkable.

One of the better Trader Joes options. A good looking pale ale coming in at 4.7 abv. Smell is decent, a touch too much malt. Flavor is hoppy but the malt is too much of a player. Overall, a good option and cheap at $6 a six pack.

Looking forward to trying this after my wife brought home. Initially thought that they changed the name from the pale ale, but no, this is completely new. Really liked the pale ale (3.98) and enjoyed the IPA (3.69) so I hope this is somewhere in between.

Poured a caramel, copper clear color with three fingers of thick, frothy, off-white head. Pretty serene looking underneath the top. Great looking uneven layered, spiderweb lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 4.50)

Smelled wet Cascade, lime, pine, lemon zest, caramel malts and spoiled orange peel. (Smell - 3.50)

Taste followed the nose, but maybe slightly better. Got Cascade, caramel malts, bitter, earthy nectarine peel, pine, soap, hints of lime, citrus zest, grassy hops and bread. (Taste - 3.50)

Light body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt finish. (Feel - 3.50)

This was decent, but not as good as I hoped it was going to be. I’d certainly rather have their pale ale or IPA. (Overall - 3.50)
