A premium lager of purity and freshness brewed using Galaxy and Cascade hops and finest English malted barley. Then for a cleaner, fruitier and more aromatic finish, re-fermented with Champagne yeast and a ‘dosage’ of rare Nelson Sauvin hops.

Bottle. Clear gold. No head.
A sweet grainy smell. Perfumed hops and light biscuit malt .
An odd fruity taste mixed in with grain.
Sprightly carbonation with a refreshing feel.
English lagers are showing improvement with this one.

I liked this lager so much that it is hard to categorize. Probably part of what makes it so good is it uses champagne yeast and re-ferments the lager in the bottle.
I will try to download the photo, but it also has a very pretty label. Black with a big Question Mark, just like below.
The lager also has a pretty golden, on the dark side, and a healthy foam. Smells are less distinguished, but still fruity. But Tastes are clean and fruity at the same time. Curious Brewery is a winemaker also and their cross-fertilization produced a fine beer. I hope to find again what the label calls "England's Lager." And it may be truth in advertising. They also have a restaurant. A possible culinary find.
