A- Tallboy pours a hazy, very pale yellow brew upon which a one finger, foamy white head forms. The cap fizzes out rather fast, poor retention and rare spotty lacing.
S- To me, it instantly smells like a Berliner Weiss or kettle sour with mashed whole grain and hints of lactic acid tartness on the nose. Hints of tart stone fruit as well as floral and spicy character. A touch of corn with time.
T- Again feels just like a kettle sour with mashed pale and whole grains before it ever comes off like a Saison. Medium lactic acid and lemon notes open it up with whole wheat, two row mash, floral, herbal and citrus zest hints later. Very much a raw grainy note throughout.
MF- Very light bodied with a crisp and puffy texture. Kind of on the thin side with a very high carbonation. Ends fairly sour.
Brut Saison feels like a bad descriptor here. Grainy and tart with minimal Saison yeast output.
