Can code, but can't tell if there's a date
Pours a med-large frothy 1.5 finger head with great retention, sticky lacing, clear but sediment laden light straw to gold
Nose has some nice fresh citrusy and earthy spicy hops, fruity hops in general, nice grainy malt under that, pilsner cereal malt bright straw grain, quite aromatic and a bit floral
Taste brings lots more fruit, fruity hops with some citrus, general fruit, med to lighter bitterness up front, lots of pilsner and straw malt, cereal grain, a bit of straw and grassy hay almost, a bit gritty, with a bit of minerals, finishes dry with a sulfate enhanced crisp bitterness, spicy hops into a med to a bit higher bitterness on the finish, hint of astringency
Mouth is med bod, med higher frothy carb
Overall not bad, somewhere between German and Czech style pilsner with American hop influences, a touch astringent on the finish, but pretty good overall
