look: 3.5 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3 | overall: 3.75
Appearance: Poured with a single finger of head that produce incredibly mild lacing but did not stick around. The body is black and opaque as a stout should be.

Smell: As advertised, chocolate, banana and peanut butter all in fairly equal measure. It's kind of strange, as different notes show up on each sniff. Sometimes it's like a Reese Peanut butter cup, sometimes its like Peanut Butter and Banana on a bagel, sometimes it's like slightly off Nutella on toast with a Banana and sometimes all three come to the party and makes it three a crowd. Potency is there without warming, although the warming seems to favor the peanut butter the most. Not a lot of beer in the background and while it's a great nose experience, I can't help but think this isn't going to work on the palate.

Taste: Well, it kind of does and kind of doesn't. Everyone is here in equal measure and seems to fight for the spotlight here. Much like the smell, every sip here is a different war between dark chocolate, peanut butter and banana. Sometimes chocolate malt dominates to start, giving way to the other two, somethings the peanut doesn't show up, sometimes it's the banana that reigns. I mean it's fun, but it's weird that you don't know what to expect next...and that...

Mouthfeel: Is an assault on the palate, as the richness the three brings leaves this dry, lingering bitterness that I think is the dark chocolate manifesting in the aftertaste bolstered by non descript bitterness, but really I think is partly just the tongue kind of numbing to what's going on here. This also means the transitioning is terrible, as you depending on what asserts when leaves for a weird, rocky ride. Carbonation isn't bad but again, it seems to assert differently each time and pans out around the 2/3rd mark. Points deducted for the lack of head as well.

Drinkability: This is thick, which a big 10% stout should be, and it certainly is a very fun adventure, but it quickly wears out its welcome. I can't see ever wanting more then one of these. It also feels kind of like a lot of dead weight in your stomach, albeit fairly sedate weight.

Final Thoughts: This is a fun beer, but again this is a beer that I would only ever want one of. It's the richest, desert beer possible with a weird palate shaking experience. This should be a Halloween beer, as drinking this reminds me of when you are a kid and you gorged on your Halloween candy so much, to the point where your tongue started to hurt. That's this beer in a nutshell. Heavy, fun but not beyond more then one.
