I had this beer on-tap in a big taster glass at Oregon Brewers Festival.
Appearance: pale salmon hue with a bit of a haze and a thin layer of white foam. Appropriate for a fruity wheat beer.
Smell: interesting prickly hoppy element with a bit of raspberry character. Kind of green-smelling and rough & ready. Raspberry is nice but is not overblown and there's nice complexity.
Taste: rich flavor, again kind of prickly and green like the aroma. The raspberry element, however, is actually very good; it's very natural-tasting. I like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a good creaminess. Good!
Overall: I like this beer's moxie. Parts of it are a bit unusual, but the raspberry flavor is quite good.
