Nitro pour into a shaker pint glass. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, opaque black in the glass with a big, creamy light brown head with great retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, a bit of char, chocolate, molasses; inviting. Flavor is dark toasted malt with light char, semi-sweet chocolate, brine. Appropriate lightly briny charred malt finish. Nice creamy body as expected from a nitro pour; perfect for an oyster stout. A nicely made, flavorful oyster stout that has a bit more ocean saltiness than typical for the style, but perfect for the ocean theme and oyster association. Quite enjoyable and well made. Stopped by for a growler of this from a brewery I was unfamiliar with; it was on nitro, so had a pint instead. That was the right choice, nitro poured stouts are great and this was probably a lot more fun to drink than from a growler.
