Mahogany color. Medium-sized, off-white head. Malt, toffees, nuts, and some earthy notes in the aroma. Malty taste with moderate bitterness. A weel-done Mild ale.

Short pour at Bailey’s. Dark brown, clear, small skin of head that leaves sheets of lacing. Aroma is toasty malts, taste too. Underserved style here in the US. Brown bread notes, pure malty goodness.

clear medium brown in color, off white head. Aroma of toasted bread, a touch of caramel. Taste is well balanced, not too sweet. Medium bodied.

Look: Clear dark reddish brown on the pour and looks black in the glass with a frothy off-white head that slowly recedes, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Warm brown bread, toffee, toasted grains, a little melanoidin, earthiness, and some light dried dark fruit notes
Taste: Toffee, bread, and grains hit the scene first with some earthy notes and melanoidin following suit and joining in the mix. More rich and deep bready malt notes pick up speed again and lead to the finish
Mouthfeel: Full but lighter than it looks (reminds me of a Schwarz in that aspect), clean throughout, medium-high carbonation, and soft and clean on the finish
Overall: This is tasty stuff. I had this years ago at their P-Town pub before a Trail Blazer game so was pumped when I heard it was being packaged as this is a very underrated and underserved style. Great bready malt depth throughout, clean, full but light feeling, and very quaffable. Delicious and recommended

16 oz. can from Lifesource Natural Grocers in Salem OR
$3.79
Pours a nice chestnut brown with a small yet very persistent beige head.
Aromas of cocoa, chocolate( milk), light toasted white bread and caramel. Nicely understated.
Taste basically as the aroma. With maybe a bit of coffee and cream.
Very nice mouth feel for the style thicker than expected for a 4% beer.
Excellent mild!
