A whiskey barrel aged sour stout with raspberries!? Yes please!
Poured a thin looking deep brown, almost black with no head or lacing.
Smells sweet, roasted, tart, oaky, boozy, and fruity. Checked all the marks of its description for sure.
Taste follows and all components are subtle and balanced.
Feel is thin. Sweet, tart, bitter, and toasty all come to balance.
Great beer overall, and perhaps my favorite of the night. Cheers!
