$4.29
Pours a very hazy apricot colour with a small frothy white head.
Very citrus fruity aromas..orange, lemon, tangerine and apricot.
Taste similar but with a welcoming bitterness..throughout.
Great mouth feel well carbonated but pretty thick on the palate.
Very nice Hazy IPA

A fade from yellow to orange with a soft glow and a creamy frothy off white head. Decent lacing.
Melon and citrus aromas with some peels and a rawness about it.
Burnt rubber and vegetal flavors over some citrus and tropical fruit flesh. Unrefined alcoholic flavor as well.
Creamy start leads into a dry and crisp finish. Mold bitterness, moderate carbonation, some alcohol warmth.
The roller coaster continues with these can releases. Decent, but not a great representative of what Ex Novo is capable of. Cheers.

Can dated 11/8:
The yellow inside of a bruised nectarine in color, there isn’t much of a buildup of head, but a thin whitish film covers the surface. Each crashing wave after a sip produces a froth that fizzles back into the cloudy void with a slight impression of haste.
Nose shows the good and the bad of fruity notes - ripe mango, tangerine, melon coupled with similar notes of those fruit that sat on the counter too long.
Taste opens with at least a medium-bodied beer, thickened by what seems like a little extra residual sugar. Moderately light carbonation allows the beer to roll smoothly towards my gullet without sticking or much coating, however. The flavor shifts to the fruit, with melon getting a little more play, mango, and even a little blueberry. A grapefruit pithy bitterness counters the sweetness, bringing some balance. Seems like some oat might be in the mix, but I’m not sure.
A decent IPA, it seems like it could fall into the NE IPA realm with its haziness and large dose of “double dry-hopping.”
